Shipping
We offer free shipping across India on all website purchases.
For international orders, please contact assistant@barebonespublishing.in for shipping options, rates, and other applicable details.
Order Processing
Orders placed on regular business days before 11:00 a.m. IST will begin processing on the same day. Orders placed after 11:00 a.m. IST will begin processing within one business day.
Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Delivery Times
Books that are currently in stock will be dispatched promptly once your order has been processed.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination but generally range from one to seven business days within India.
Delays in Service
Bare Bones Publishing is not responsible for any loss, damage, or liability arising directly or indirectly from delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including electronic or mechanical equipment failures, telephone or network problems, defects, adverse weather, strikes, industrial action, fire, acts of God, riots, armed conflicts, acts of war, or other similar causes.
Taxes and Duties
All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of applicable taxes.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for any additional customs duties, import taxes, and other chargesimposed by the destination country.
Changes to Orders
If you need to change your shipping address or modify the books in your order, you must request a cancellation and place a new order.
If your order has already been dispatched and you need to change the delivery address, please contact the local delivery company directly once the parcel has arrived in the destination region. We cannot guarantee that an address change will be possible after dispatch.
Returns & Replacements
We do not offer refunds.
Bare Bones books are shipped in custom protective packaging. We recommend opening the package only after confirming that you have received the book you ordered. We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for books that have been removed from their original packaging.
If your order arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, please email assistant@barebonespublishing.in with your order number, details of the damage or discrepancy, and clear photographs of the book and packaging.
We will assess your request and confirm whether you are eligible for a replacement, subject to availability.
If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were received and must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
Payment Failure
If your account is debited despite a payment failure, the amount will be credited back within 7–10 business days, subject to confirmation from the bank.
If you receive a payment failure notification, please place the order again.
